Location
This photo was taken in The Netherlands in a forest about 2 hours aways from my home.Time
This image is what actually fully motivated me to dedicate most of my photography to forest and nature. This was the first time I saw sun light rays with my own eyes. An undescribed and memorable moment binding lots of emotions to this image. Sometime sit take just one event to change your life, and this was one of those.Lighting
The best light I could have wished for. No wind, blue sky and a cold morning. The perfect conditions for the most beautiful rays.Equipment
I took this image with the NIKON D7200 equipped with a NIKKOR 70-200 mm f/2.8. The camera was mounted on my very first shaky tripods. Luckily I kept the VR on :)Inspiration
At the beginning of my photography journey, I saw so many photos on social media featuring sun light rays. So I got in touch with one of my best landscape photographer ever to mentor me in realizing this show. I am deeply thankful to Lars van der Goor for taking along his morning shooting back then.Editing
At the time I took this image, I wasn't very handy with Lightroom and Photoshoop. So I did some basic corrections such as exposure, highlights, saturation. In my camera bag
Today you will find a NIKON Z6 II and Sigma Sport 70-200 mm f/2.8. When I head to the coast, I take also my NIKON D7200, the Sigma 10-20 mm f/3.5 and ND filters.Feedback
Never stop photographing. There are amazing shots waiting for you at any corner.
