Its hard to get a good exposure with white swans and their black beaks and eyes in bright sunlight. You did a good job but the eyes could have been brought out more. Have you tried using luminosity masks?

Just tried this yesterday, I know how hard it is you get them in focus now. Yours look perfect, I guess I just have to get out and do a little more practicing!
