This lioness was extremely pregnant and enjoying a day in the sand with the pride and two males. They had a recent buffalo kill just up the bank from where this was taken. Every 10 minutes or so she would run up the bank to chase off the vultures while the other lions all slept. This was taken as she took a much needed break for a drink. Taken in the greater Kruger National Park, SA.
