Behind The Lens

Location

In my home studio. It was a test session with my daughter.

Time

Because im natural light i generally only shoot in tha am... but when it comes to testing i do it whenever i can and force the light. This is 2.30 in afternoon.

Lighting

I used window light and alot of dodge and burn and hand tinting

Equipment

Shot with cannon 50D. Hand held. F2.8 1/100 iso 500 24 mm lens

Inspiration

I love the old vintage swapcard look and aim to give all my work a slight vintage and magical feel.

Editing

I use old cs4... and do alot of hand tinting and d and b.

In my camera bag

My 24mm cause i have a tiny studio. A 50mm.. lots of cards and batteries. I make do with what i have.

Feedback

Ive found simple set ups work best for vintage. Also when working with small kids its best to let them guide you. They naturally go into the best poses. Then i trick them into looking where i want them too.
