In the Summer of 20, my husband and I went to Alaska for two weeks. One of those weeks we had signed up to participate in a photography workshop. That meant we were out on the water in a small fishing boat for up to 8 hours a day, usually in the rain. It was a fabulous trip for photographing nature and wildlife. One day we were fortunate to photograph Orcas. This image is of a baby with its mother. The mother was teaching the baby how to survive. It was a wonderful experience.
