Behind The Lens

Location

Kermorvan lighthouse, French Brittany

Time

Early morning on a stormy day. I could barely stand up, the wind was so strong but lucky because it was head on, so clouds were moving my way very fast

Lighting

Nothing special

Equipment

Nikon d800e Carl Zeiss 15mm distagon Really Right Stuff Tripod Singh Ray ND filter

Inspiration

I have always loved the square shape of this old lighthouse

Editing

Single exposure Post Processing done in LR and PS

In my camera bag

2 Nikon DSLRs Nikon 14-24 24-70 and 80-400 are usually in my bag. If I’m not hiking much then I might add either Zeiss 15mm or 135mm. A bunch of ND filters Extra batteries Extra SD cards Lens cleaning sheets Headlight and flashlight

Feedback

Some other compositions could be interesting by getting down a bit lower or shooting from the side. Be careful on a stormy day those waves are pretty strong
