Location
This photo was taken a few blocks from my home town of Kekaha on Island of Kauai. I went out for day at the beach while storm surge passed by the Island creating higher than average waves with mist rolling over crests of waves.Time

Lighting is as shown. Loved the sun dancing off the water rolling over the sands.Equipment
Nikon D 5100, F 8, iso 100,50mm nikon lens, 1/250 sec exposure.Inspiration
One of my favorite beaches on island of Kauai. Niihau island always makes good back drop. I knew surf would be up from passing storm so brought camera bag with me that day.Editing
I used photoshop software to adjust contrast and brightness.In my camera bag
My top 3 cameras i use are the nikon d5100, newly added nikon d 850 and trusty tough kodak pro 14n camera. Have dozen nikon lenses that work on all three cameras. I have tripod, ND filters and UV filters with cleaning kit for dust, water spray from beach. Nothing worse than having to fix pictures later with spots on lense.Feedback
