Sometimes.. I'm leaving the house with a picture in my head, a mood, something i want to photograph or at least looking for something similiar.
I went to the Seedorf lake. Not far away from home and relatively small, but beautiful. The weather was fantastic; absolutely cloudless, cold with -3°C, so i was expecting ground fog, and that's what i was looking for.
But then... I saw these two birds in the middle of the lake, sitting on... Something. I guess it's an old tree stump. And when the very first sunrays reached the lake, everything was glowing... With these two birds in the middle. What a wonderful moment. THATS the reason for doing that, for crawling out of the bed even before the sun comes up, for standing around in the cold air, freezing and waiting for this short moment when everything's (almost) perfect.
