Thank you and great eye! The 'little red riding hood' is actually a red manual water pump (which I didn't even see until mentioned by yourself).

Very nice picture. I would like it but don't seem to remember how to do that.

Behind The Lens
Location
This image was made in rural central Alberta, Canada.Time
The shot was made rather late in the day. The sun was maybe just above the horizon as it had pretty well already settled behind some clouds but that left some wonderful light.Lighting
The light was totally produced by nature … the position of the sun behind a layer of clouds.Equipment
The shot was made with a Nikon D7000 with the 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 zoom lens, on tripod.Inspiration
We had had three or four days of heavy fog that produced a lot of hoar frost and the resulting light had been very flat and uninteresting. I was driving around looking for something to happen such as the fog lifting and the light improved. And then it all came together.Editing
I bumped up image contrast some and opened up shadows some … but that was about it for post processing. In my camera bag
I generally have the trusted Nikon D7000 with me at all times … it has traveled with me to many countries because it is much lighter than my Nikon D3. The 18-200mm f/3.5-5.6 has become a standard lens for this camera although I do have the 80-200mm f/2.8 and 300mm f/4 and sometimes carry because I really do like this glass.Feedback
No advice other than … If you don't have your camera with you, you can't make the picture. It will never be quite the same as how you saw the image the first time.
