A Twice-Stabbed Lady Beetle hangs out on some pine needles. It was windy that day and the beetle didn't want to cooperate and kept moving around and climbing other pine needles.
There was a bit of flash glare on the shell as I didn't use a diffuser and just had the pop-up flash at 50% power. I had to edit out some of the glare, hopefully it's not too noticeable in this image! Over-contrasting help blend some of the glare out too, although I'm not a fan of using too much contrast usually.
These little lady beetles are still one of my favorite insects. :)
