Behind The Lens

Location
South Georgia Island, near Antarctica
Time
Early Morning
Lighting
Everything was a dirty white colour due to the slush on the water.
Equipment
Canon 1DX, 600mm f/4.0, on tripod
Inspiration
A heavy snowfall overnight had left a large amount of slush on the surface of this bay where a large King Penguin colony lived. The penguins were unable to swim very well through the slush, and the Leopard Seals took full advantage.
