The Andenes lighthouse and the northern lights. After 10 days of roaming and camping around the coast of Northern Norway, photographing the northern lights, we got very lucky on the last night. A G2-class geomagnetic storm took place and we were blessed with some mind blowing auroras. From dusk to dawn, the sky was on fire. Our last location for the night was this lighthouse. I composed the photograph and waited for the lights to move over the lighthouse. Then these beautiful strips of auroras appeared over it and i managed to capture them. For me it looks like a lightning strike, only they were the northern lights. That's why i call the image "Aurora Strike". Perhaps one of my best photographs i have taken.
