Exposed some frames with Nikonos III, while carefully keeping my distance. The fish can discharge pretty powerful electric shocks, and deep down, it's the last thing you'd wish to experience!
Electric fishes use their high-voltage charge to hunt by stunning their prey. While science generally understands their electric battery - capacitor mechanism, we still know nothing about "the switch" which enables them to discharge at will.
