Behind The Lens

Location

Maroon Bells in Colorado, near Aspen.

Time

Dawn. It was freezing and my second consecutive dawn shoot to try and get reflections.

Lighting

The sun slowly rose up and lit the far mountain. Most of the other photographers had left but by hanging on I captured the golden light.

Equipment

Canon 5d mark 4, Gitzo tripod, soft grad.

Inspiration

I wanted to see the iconic Maroon Bells with the amazing reflections.

Editing

Very little.

In my camera bag

Canon 5d mark 4, 24-70 and 70-300 lenses. Various grads and a sturdy tripod.
