Upon arriving at Island Lake I was immediately taken aback by the sheer natural beauty displayed in front of me - wildflowers, the aqua color of the water, and the majestic stature of U.S. Grant Peak - all made for an amazing view. The moon was out in full force, so I shot the scene of our campsite lit up by the moon (you can see our tents to the right) and then after the moon set I reshot the same scene showcasing the Milky Way above, and then blended the two. Hope you dig it.
