Location
Taken in the distillery district of Toronto Ontario Canada. Once used as a large area for the brewing of many different types of spirits, it has now become an attraction for tourists and artisans shops. Lovely area!Time
Late afternoon. Workmen were cleaning up after an event and they were stacking chairs and loading them into a truck. The piles of chairs were literally disappearing before me, so I worked as quickly as I could and shot as many as I could. Not sure what I wanted. Only knew that somewhere in there ,there was an Image!Lighting
There were old brick walls all around and the gleam of the silver chairs stood out against the dull light of the late afternoon. What I wanted , was to get the stack of chairs before they were gone. The silver gleam was what I wanted.Equipment
No tripod. No flash. Sony a6000 for mobility. Since I am legally blind..no peripheral vision..I depend upon the live view and try to rectify afterwards. And depend upon Luck!Inspiration
Love the gleam of silver against dull brick! And the pattern of convoluted piled chairs!Editing
Use whatever I can to post-process--- Lightroom, Photoshop, Elements, ON10, Photo Raw....Like them all on different days!In my camera bag
Prime lens Minolta 50 1.4...my favourite..Sony wide angle, Sony telephoto. Plastic garbage bag for kneeling on, and gloves because it is now cold here in CanadaFeedback
Go with your "gut feeling"... If something says to you "There's an image there... Take it And work on it later. You'll regret it ,if you do not stop to take it. Cheers for getting the image!!
