Behind The Lens

Location
This was taken in my backyard in the fall of 2016. I had so many pumpkins that were still viable, and I didn't want them to go to waste.
Time
After 4:00pm.
Lighting
Natural light, the setting sun, after 4:00pm.
Equipment
Sony DSC-HX300, a bridge camera, so you don't have to adjust any settings.
Inspiration
I had so many left over pumpkins after Halloween ended, that I decided to fill them with sunflower and wild bird seed, and to just watch what bird or animal would take a look, see. The birds came right away, it didn't take them to long. The squirrels came a few days later, and they would fight over who would get the seeds, but only through the holes in the front of the pumpkin. I decided to enlarge the top, so they could get inside, and see what pictures I would finally get. Some of them were so funny, and then my dog got in the act, and watched from inside the back door, and that's how I got them to look at her. And that is how the 'Pumpkin House' got started...
Editing
No post-processing.
In my camera bag
2 cameras, both Sony, a DSC-HX300, and a DSC-RX10M3.
Feedback
Use your imagination! If you have an idea, it doesn't hurt to write it down first, and develop it from there. Pretend you are writing a book, if it tells a story, and you can continue in that theme, play it out.
