Behind The Lens

Location

Believe it or not this was on the way to my mother in-laws to pick my children after a night out. A very foggy morning in Bolton. I always drive past this church which was very very eery with the fog providing a perfect example of distance and fade. Had tomsrop the car and take a few snaps with my D5300 I had at the time.

Time

This shot was taken at approx 9am-930am on a very grey Sunday November morning.

Lighting

Nothing really to add about lighting except the sun was very low and overcast.

Equipment

I took this from the church yard wall which was a perfect support for myself.

Inspiration

Couldn't resist pulling my car over when I drove around the corner (so.happy I had my camera with me) it's was the perfect photo moment.

Editing

The original photo was taken in colour I simply converted to greyscale that was all.

In my camera bag

I have since upgraded camera since I took this at the time I had a D5300 with the 18-55mm kit lens and also a nikon 55-300mm.

Feedback

Always take your camera with you, you never know when the opportunity will present itself. Think about angle and depth.
