Location
This photo was taken at pashupatinath temple, a holy site for hindu worshippers during festival called "Maha Shibaratri" It is a time where all the sage and yogis from all across nepal and India gather around and worships lord Shiva.Time
This pictures was taken at around 11 AM in the morning. I still remember me parking my bike around the bridge and rushing scrambling thousand of people who was gathered in the premises of pashupati during maha shivaaratri. There was thousand of people walking around and making it hard to take a clear shot. And probably after waiting around an hour or so I saw a little window where I could take this shot.Lighting
As a visual story teller I would say lighting is very crucial in taking any pictures. With proper lighting one can draw proper audience then in comparison with the pictures without proper lighting.Equipment
It was shot on Reble t3i using kit lens If i recall it correctly.Inspiration
I never intend to take shot from this point of view as I was waiting of I could take a portrait of this particular person, but as was moving here and there to get the clear shot, it accidentally happened. And I say all the good creation was once and accident.Editing
I am not that huge fan of editing as I like my pictures to be as natural as it can be. Little bit of adjustment in terms of exposure and contrast has been done using lightroom.In my camera bag
Compared to past days I now have canon 5D mark ii with 24-105 f4 with me whereever I go. But when this picture was taken I had reble t3i and 18-55 f3.5-5.6 and 55-250 f4-5.6Feedback
Weather you are professional photographer or hobbyist photographer one thing you need to learn is to have patience and have lot of it. As things might be as you've planned things will allways turn out better if you know how to do it and not lose hope. For pictures anything like this or anything extraordinary patience and persistence is very very important.
