Recently I was on a business trip to Arizona and obviously, as any photography enthusiast, I tried to make the best of it and shoot as much as I could. The problem was that I didn't have enough time to prepare and scout any good places and if you just "google it", you'll find places packed with tons and tons of people.
Being a geek, I went back to the computer. Google maps has this incredible feature to read geotagged pictures and point the location on the map, similar to Flickr, but a better experience.
So I found this amazing place, quiet, relaxing, with absolutely nobody to get into your frame, called Watson Lake. It may also be great to photograph birds.
I played around with reflections and such while waiting for the sunset. The sky started to change, the colors of the rocks started to become even friendlier than they were and a lot of mosquitoes woke up. Yes, if you ever visit the place, you better be prepared! I wasn't :-|
So I took this picture of that pretty lake. Enjoy!
