The natural history of the American bullfrog has stated they are a warm and loving species that holds near to the northern limits of its physiological tolerance in southern British Columbia. The amphibian species is the last to emerge from the winter torpor and doesn't reproduce until water is above 20 degrees. Their food source consists of insects, earthworms, leeches, centipedes, millipedes, crayfish and much more. Research states that they also make for great exotic pets for those of whom love frogs.
