I just put my camera on tripod facing up, zooming out with focal length at 10mm, using long exposure of 6 secondsEquipment
Canon 700D camera with Canon 10-18mm lens on tripodInspiration
it was last day of my 23 days journey in China. I had only 3 days in Shanghai and first two was raining heavily. I went to the top of Shanghai Tower, the tallest building in Shanghai and of of the tallest in the world (right one on photo). At last there was a day with good enough visibility. When I went down I had only around one hour until I had to leave for my flight. I looked up and saw those 3 huge towers.Editing
I used Lightroom to sharpen buildings a little bit and turned photo to be black/blue and white. In my camera bag
With my Canon 700D I usually use Canon 10-18mm lens for landscapes and cityscapes, I also have Tamron 24-70mm for all other photography. Sometimes I add Canon 70-300mm. But usually I only have 2 lenses with me. I also have Ultrapod II with me, it's small and light. And if I'm going out at night I use SLIK Sprint Mini IIFeedback
I don't thing that anyone should try to capture something similar to other photographer. You should try and capture the image that you see. Sometimes this image could be similar to mine or someone else's vision. And do not forget to look up, there are a lot of cool things to see there :)
