Location
This was a portrait-session with a bar-manager. So this is in her bar below ground level at her pool table.Time
Middle of the day, but there is no natural light in the building.Lighting
My single flash didn’t do me any good in this session so it was available light only. In this case; a single dimmed light over the pool table.Equipment
Nikon d7000, tripod, Sigma 105mm Macro f/2.8Inspiration
She wanted a shot at the pool table and everything just came naturally togetherEditing
The RAW file had a mix of different light colors in not a flattering way so monochrome was the natural choice. It was all done in Lightroom with brush-tool. I’m not a fan of presets. In my camera bag
My Nikon D7000 of course, Nikon 70-300mm f/4.5, Sigma 105mm f/2.8 Macro, Sigma Art 18-35 f/2.8, remote, Lee filters.Feedback
Take your time and talk to your model. Actually getting along with the model also helps :)
