This shot would be even better than it is if the model pointed her head more to the right.

Maybe, but that's your opinion. We were too busy trying to get a good shot with the wind pushing her in all directions and dealing with the freezing cold. Every photo in the world can be improved but it all comes down to personal taste and the intention of the photographer.
