Love the timing of this photo. I hold my breath a little just waiting for the storm to strike. Congrats!

Absolutely fantastic shot! I love the stark contrast of the darkness of the approaching mayhem to the light, still sunny hay field. Great work!

Image of contrasts: bright and dark, man vs elements, order vs chaos. Powerful broody image. I like the positioning of the horizen - !/3 / 2/3.

The storm was coming in from the Sea and the light was going as the clouds got darker, so I had my camera on a tripod and shot at F.20 for about 1/5th Sec to get sharpness back to front.Equipment
Canon 5D Mk 11 with Canon 24-105mm F4 IS L and a 4 stop grad filter. On Manfrotto Tripod.Inspiration
The atmosphere was charged with the storm and I am a sucker for round bales of Hay which made me stop while driving to Kimmeridge Bay.Editing
I de-saturated the sky of colour as light colours of the Hay and the Grad filter gave the clouds too much of a warm cast! Added extra contrast to the sky on a separate level. Original was cropped to a more panoramic viewpoint. In my camera bag
Canon 1D Mk4 & Canon 5D Mk11, Canon 300mm F2.8 IS L, Canon 24-105mm F4 IS L, Canon 40mm Pancake F2.8, sometimes the Canon 70-200mm F2.8 L. Assorted Cokin filters, Cable release, Memory cards spare batteries etc.Feedback
