Location
I took this photo on the wrought iron rails that surround a dam.Time
The fog had lifted in the early morning, just as the sun began to rise.Lighting
I was fortunate to have the lake as a backdrop, as well as a darkened border of trees. The lighting, reflected onto the water, and perfectly lit the spider web and dew, that clung to the strings of the webEquipment
My camera of choice was an iPhone8Inspiration
I had been taking a walk on a causeway, that overlooked a dam. I noticed that there were, at least, 20 different spider webs within the spindles of a wrought iron fence.Editing
I darkened the background a bit more, in order to get a better visual on the details of the dew drops that were clinging to the spider’s web.In my camera bag
I carry my iPhone8 in, either my camera bag or in my back pocket.Feedback
Look for opportunities to photograph the unexpected. Use your photos as a visual storyteller. You may just capture an image that others may have never seen before.
