Somewhere deep inside of Arches National Park, after a short hike (with no clear path at 4am in the morning).Time
It was 4am and sometime in the Fall. We slept in the car until the meteor shower started.Lighting
I’m not much of a night photographer, so getting this shot was a challenge. I timed my sleep schedule with the peak of the meteor shower and then used a flashlight to highlight the arches.Equipment

When I heard the largest meteor shower in years was approaching, I wanted to find the perfect location. Arches National Park seemed like the best spot.Editing
I took two exposures, one of the sky and one of the arch. There were many meteors that night and a few helicopters, so I photoshopped out the helicopters.In my camera bag
