There are few creatures on this planet that I find mor alien than crocodiles. They are incapable of even the slightest hint of facial expression. There's no knowing what is going on inside of them. But I can't help but thinking that there is some kind of menace in their eyes. Or, to put it differently, I have never seen a crocodile so far that appeared to be looking at their surroundings in a friendly manner.

As with many of my photos, this one has been on the verge of being deleted for almost two months now because it looked rather boring in the original version. I have no idea why I kept it. Now, however, after having found the right way to process it just today, I am glad that I did. And I am very excited to share it with you because I think it is one of the best crocodile photos I have made so far.
