Mali on the Niger river near Djene

Time

This picture was taken during a trip with my 3 daugthers and my wife. We where returning from an Island where most of the people where making pottery for a living.

Lighting

Sun was coming down as we where returning from the village.The water was still and lighting perfect. The only camera I had was a small digital pocket camera and the picture was taken from a long african pirogue with 7 people on board.
