In the early morning when the sun is rising....

Lighting

It was a calm and light cloudy morning, the sun just rise above the horizon peeking through the morning cloud.

Equipment

Canon 60D, 70-200 lense, with 2X extender. Gitzo GT2542 tripod with RRS BH55 ballhead. Canon remote.

Inspiration

This is a very old and large rose plant, have many rose flower on it.... Over night there was a fog covering my garden. When the sun came out the rose are covered with morning dews.... This rose was just opened and in perfect shape and form.

Editing

The lighting and rose both are near perfect... Very little post-processing, adjust and cleaned up a bit with LR.

Feedback

For floral close-ups, I like early morning light at sun rise and golden hour light at sunset. Use steady tripod, long exposure.
