Behind The Lens

Location

I took this photo during a trip I took over the south of Mexico. I took a lot of photos of these monkeys but this one caught me, i loved the face and the eyes.

Time

It was afternoon

Lighting

It was natural light. I just placed myself in the correct angle.

Equipment

I used my Nikon D750 and a 70-200 mm f2.8

Inspiration

I love to take nature photos. But I don't have the resources to make a living of it or at least travel everytime I want. I got the chance to take this trip and I took it. I don't regret it because I met a lot of people. Saw magnificent landscapes and animals.

Editing

I just made some minimal corrections. Light, contrast, and increased saturation a bit.

In my camera bag

My trusty Nikon D750, a 50mm 1.8, 70-200mm 2.8, 16mm 2.8, a couple of godox speedlight v860 and some ND filters.

Feedback

Get a guide in order to know where the animals are jaja. And a lot of pacience because sometimes you won't be able tonfind them. Be cautious, silent, and above all the respect animals and their territory.
