A winding stairway on a hillside, with an oddly shaped door near the bottom of the actual house living area. This is either an unusual back entrance, not often seen in San Francisco, as we have no alleys, or a main entrance to a reconstruced basement apartment. The cost of living is so high here that living spaces are being created everywhere imaginable. Beautifully painted, nice round window with dotted curtains, and a light above for safety.
This is a North facing window with no sunlight, nice minimal view but not very cheery.
