The subject is a dancer. My goal with this series was to capture the inner power, determination and perseverance it takes to be a truly revered dancer. I used flour and off camera flash to really contrast and highlight her body. I felt as though her position in this image exhibits the passion and fearlessness required to perform with an open heart.
