This couple won a wedding portrait redo contest I held this summer. The couple married in 2009, and at the time, the bride was 160 lbs heavier and was embarrassed to share or display her wedding photos (shot by another photographer) because she was unhappy with her weight at the time and ashamed that she had let herself get to that point. Since then, she's adopted a healthier lifestyle and lost over half of her body weight. I gifted her the styled shoot to give her the wedding portraits that she feels better represent the way she feels about herself at this point in time. She and her husband and their 6-year-old son all participated in the shoot.
