This was my second visit to Skogafoss in two days. Packed by tourist visiting this iconic waterfall on the previous day, I was determined to shoot it without the mob. I arrived at the fall around 11:00 pm hoping that the setting sun would cast just a hint of warmth. The photo made at about 11:55 pm just as the sun tucked behind the mountain. Seeing that it was June, the sky never went dark. Skogafoss at midnight is a very different place... peaceful, powerful and serene.
