Behind The Lens

Location

this photo was taken at our cottage. I heard a splash and went out onto the deck to find this big buy swimming across the bay.

Time

It was captured in the early morning.

Lighting

I shot it with a Nikon D7000 and a SIGMA – 150-500mm – zoom lens. I didn't have time to get the tripod.

Inspiration

Seeing this big moose swim across the bay is something I may never get a chance to see again. I am very happy I was able to capture this amazing scene.

Editing

The image was sharpened in Lightroom

In my camera bag

I shoot with a Nikon D7000 with a variety of lenses. I really like the SIGMA – 18-35mm f/1.8 art lens. It's been sitting on my camera a lot since I purchased it. I also like it for photographing my grandchildren.
