This image used to be just the foreground of the two huge sculptures representing a scorpion and a grasshopper. In Photoshop, I painted in the 4 hour star trails that you see in the background. Both of these images were taken in Anza Borrego Desert State Park.

I didn't want to much light painting on the dragon, so I tried to dim it down. Also the Andromeda Galaxy is to the dragon's right.

I was practicing depth of field, and tried some flower shots.

I was testing out my new camera, and I saw my dog sleeping on my footrest-chair. I took the picture just as she was stretching.

Since there was no sunrise that morning, I had to improvise!
