Love the grey tones and the mood you have created. It's got such great texture and the use of vertical lines draws our eye to the diagonals in the centre. Strong work. Can look at it for a long time.

Behind The Lens

Location

This picture was taken from a visit to a Chinese temple in Kuala Lumpur. A worker was carrying the special made giant joysticks for the nine emperor god festival.

Time

During afternoon.

Lighting

That day was a cloudy day. Due to the smokes and burning of the joysticks, the visibility isn't favor to shot in color. So i convert the photo into B&W.

Equipment

This was shot from my Sony A7 full frame camera and a wide angle lens.

Inspiration

I like street and travelling photography, so i like to wait for moments or quick snap on special moments. The surrounding environment inspired me to take this shot.

Editing

I like street photography; thus it gave more impact to convert color to B&W.

In my camera bag

I have a Sony A7 full frame camera, 17-30 mm Zeiss wide angle lens, 70-200mm sony G lens and a 50mm F1.8 prime lens.

Feedback

Welcome to Malaysia. We have many costumes and festivals in a year, and many cultural architecture from different races of Malay, Indian, and Chinese.
