Coming back from a hike toward the visitors center, a bear and 3 cubs were confronted by park rangers as they were in to close to a lot of visitors. The momma bear was chased, and her cubs didn't follow...they ran up a tree. I took this as we were allowed to walk by to get to the visitors center. Take at Sequoias National Park

Though we should never get too close to a bear and her cubs, you got really lucky as it isn't often that you can get this close to a wild bear safely. Nice photo

Thank you. I live hiking, but it is always a fear running into one. Just glad the situation was calm. I always wondered if they reunited the bears with momma
