This is my Grandson Kael in June of 2010. We had recently moved to Peterborough, Ontario to be closer to my parents. My Mom was very ill but was OK this day for a brief visit to meet her Great Grandchildren. Mom and Dad had met Great Granddaughter Shaelyn about 3 years earlier, but had never met Great Grandson Kael. My daughter Shauna had come on the bus to help out with the School Class. They were visiting our Zoo for the morning. Kael was a bit shy at the thought of meeting them - it was understandable. He knew Mom was ill. I got this capture of Kael so deep in thought after he had met and hugged my Mom and Dad. I think his face is so telling of all the thoughts that might be going through his mind after the meeting. Just meeting them for the first time, knowing that soon his Great Grandmother would soon not be here anymore. It was the first and last time he ever saw my Mom.
