Ross River Dam is Townsville's water supply, but at present it's only at 18% capacity. Water restrictions are in place for gardens, but the wet season hopefully will bring much needed rain, particularly to the catchment area. This upper Ross River area is always beautiful and the surrounding scenery is spectacular.
