Congratulations on winning my photo challenge! I had many entrees but yours really stood out to me. I love the simplicity of this photo, and the fact it's not perfectly symmetrical. The contrast between the butterflies' orange and blue wings and the pink and blue stem takes the photo to a whole new level. I also like how you blurred the background. Anyway, congrats once again on winning my It's A Winger photo challenge, I hope you continue with photography because you certainly have the eye for it!

We were at church and were getting ready to go inside when I saw this butterfly on sitting in a poke salad bush that was growing on the edge of our parking area. It was the first I had saw for the year so I grabbed my camera and snapped a few shots before going into services.Editing
None other than just slightly brightening. In my camera bag

Just keep your eyes open because you never know what you might see that will make a great photo. Natural sunlight is always better. Standing in the shade while shooting toward your subject in the sun or standing in the sun and shooting toward the shade both seems to have a great outcome with colors to eliminate the need for editing.
