Location
This photo was taken in the Ciudad de las Sciencias in Valencia, Spain. This is the body of water that can be found in between the garden and the science museum.Time
It was taken at 11:19 (AM) and the weather was extremely nice. It was warm but because it was in September it was not too busy in the Ciudad, which made it possible for me to get the entire stairway on the frame.Lighting
Besides the beautiful, sunny weather the only thing I kept in mind was keeping the sun on my back, which was possible considering the time of day. Plus the sun made the reflection in the water even better.Equipment
Actually the only thing I did was sit on one knee to stabilise my arm and mobile phone. This was taken with my Moto 5G and I definitely did not expect this picture to come out of my mobile phone's camera! No lens, no flash, just my phone.Inspiration
I have been there a few times already, but back then the camera's on mobile phones were not good enough for these kinds of shots. The before last time I went there were too many people to get the right reflection so this time I waited for some people to leave to take the picture.Editing
No processing needed with this kind of beautiful weather! Sometimes I use the Snapseed app to do the finishing touches as a true amateur photographer, haha!In my camera bag
I have my phone with me all the time and with just a wobble of my hand I open my camera and take a shot when I see a good one come up. It does not always work out unfortunately so I hope to have a better camera available soon!Feedback
Take a few shots, not just one, because sometimes it is just that one little bird that can make or break the 'feel' of the picture so to say.
