As an archer myself this photo captures the essence of the zen statement that "the archer being one with the target". It shows not only movement of the arrow leaving the bow, and the vibration of the bow riser and hand, but also where the archer is rock solid, both in stature and in attitude. The contrast of result against visualisation is mirrored by the contrast of a black & white. so many paradoxes, but in my opinion an image I am most proud of.
