Lazi was a very special "One In A Million Dog." You are very lucky if you even own one such dog in your lifetime. She found us at about 9 months old, almost starved to death, the pads on her feet were covered in blisters from the 100 degree sun, and she was crawling with fleas. We feed her, gave her water, and a bath, and we were fortunate to have her live with us for the next 16 years. My daughter was about 7 at the time, and her friend next door about the same age, dressed Lazi up as you see her here. It took about a half an hour for them to do this, and she laid there perfectly still all the while they did this. After that the kids left, Lazi just laid there and fell asleep. That's when I took this picture. She probably slept there like this for over an hour. She just loved the attention.

This was her couch, in a back bedroom, that she was allowed to sleep on.
