Was out chasing bugs at a local park here in Northern Virginia and found this little bee....and an unexpected guest. Used my D500 with a nikkor 70-300mm lense and a $20 macro adapter. Set the camera to manual focus, continuous shooting mode and and got in close. Moving up close and backing away while shooting continuous I eventually got a shot in focus. A lot of work, but I haven't collected enough pennies to spring for the macro lens I want yet.
