The lone tree at Buttermere lake, in the Lake District. Previously I have shot this image as a landscape view but today decided on a portrait view and I am really pleased with the composition. Also I was fortunate enough to have nice calm conditions this morning witch resulted in the lovely reflection across the water.

A view looking down from Lingmoor Fell at Blea-tarn and beyond. It's a reasonable climb but well worth it once your at the top. Hope you enjoy it

Breezy morning down at the lake this morning, not much cloud around but a lovely sunrise to make up for it.

Birnbeck pier built in the 1860 and is now derelict and believed to be haunted.

I thought this was a redundant line, I couldnt believe my eyes when I noticed Trains going through twice a day.
