Behind The Lens
Location
The photo was taken in a lake where I live, in Tuscany. The lake is called Bilancino. I was coming back from a seminar, driving home and turning on the left I saw this picture. I was in the right place at the right timeTime
It was taken in an early spring late afternoon. I love that year's period: the air is so clean and clear, clouds are making wonderful designs up above and the sky is so blue!Lighting
I wanted this image to bring people to dream, to be for a few seconds in another place and to stop thinking for a while.Equipment
This was shooted on a Canon 5D Mark III, with a 16-35 mm lens. No other equipment were required.Inspiration
I really don't know what inspire me, often I drive and see "something worthing to shoot at", I stop and take my camera out. Sometimes can be a particular light, or a shadow, or colors.Editing
Usually I don't use many post-processing, basicly beacuse I'm not so good using it! I had adjusted just lights and shadows and bring some brightness.In my camera bag
I have a backpack and bring all the equipment with me, I do not have many stuff....not yet! So I have my Canon 5D Mark III, 16-35mm lens, 70-200mm lens and 85mm lens.Feedback
If you like landscape photography, you have to be patience and wait for the right time to better enhance the scenario that you have seen. I can even suggest you to trust your instincts, if you perceive that there may be a beautiful shot, take it! than you will understand what have captured your attention.
