What would call a rainbow produced in a snowstorm ? A snowbow ?!
I was in the Mt.Hood National Forest at the White River Snowpark in mid October exploring the area which started as a bright beautiful sunny day.. Then came the clouds from nowhere it seems and began making Mt.Hood disapear in a beautiful glowin haze of blue an pure white mixed with gold hues.A few sunbreaks illuminated the mountain scenes that peered through the cloud cover still engulfing most of the mountain.and then faintly i started seeing a rainbow.
Fumbling for my gear as i looked upon what was "developing" i was able to capture a few images of something ive never seen before.. Ive seen rainbows - ive seen snow clouds abd mountains - yet unti then i have not seen,well.. A Snowbow !!
