This image is one of a series I'm working on centred around taking photos from the passenger seat of cars as I'm being transported along motorways. The subject is always trees and other vegetation. I was inspired to start shooting these images through having my camera in my lap whilst being a passenger and deciding that I wouldn't let the limited conditions prevent me from experimenting and shooting. This is one photograph taken using a shutter speed just long enough to create some motion, but not too long as to over expose the scene....the image was taken during the middle of the day.
